Out riding on the weekend, managed to lose the lower radiator hose off the water pump. Noticed a funny rattle start up, sounded like something loose - had a quick look but didn't notice the hose half off. Got back to the car (another 5 km or so) and nearly had kittens to see I had no coolant. Motor was very noisy. Let it cool down for about 45 minutes, replaced the hose and filled it back up. Started up - no noise, no leaks, still got heaps of power, apparantly no damage at all. I can hardly believe my luck! Love that bulletproof motor - lets see a KTM do that! :laugh:
