Bummed out in LA

Just moved to Southern Alabama (Lower Alabama), and was very excited to get into woods riding again - thought I'd have plenty of areas to ride;) However, as of now, I am unable to find anywhere south of Birmingham - I believe Kentuck is the closest at half a day's drive. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Right now it looks like I'm stuck with MX only.

Check with Lemming, KDXFile, or TimR. Those guys know all the cool places south of Birmingham. There's a place called "The Bowl" that's close to Alabaster. It's the only practice place that I know of.

There are clubs at Maplesville, Clanton, and Rockford, and they put on occasional "fun runs" in addition to enduros and hare scrambles.
