I will be in Atlanta Aug 19-27 I am hoping to find a way to take my bike along (I have not even started it this year). KTMike was saying the trail up there was in bad shape from the ROS ride, I was wondering just how bad they are.

Jim - the trails here are more whooped than they were when you were here last (unless they have groomed since I last rode them - which I doubt). They are still rideable though. The west side is the worst it seems. C loop also got some new whoops. Dont let the whoops scare you away though!

Thanks Mike,I was hoping for smooth trail (or as close as you get in Mich)on my 1st ride of the year because my health has not been up to riding so far. I have been doing much better the last few weeks. I will be at the same spot camping with the wife and kids. We are towing the camper this trip and I think I finally figured out a way to get the bike in the van, short of taking the thing apart.

They are whooped out pretty bad, just do short rides or go to one of the other trail nearby.

I know what you mean. I've ridden up there 3 times and I still get lost.
I cant wait to get up there. This will be my 1st ride this year and my 1st vac. in over a year. The van, bike and camper are all set to go now all I need to do is finish backing and wait for Sat. morning.
