So I recently bought a 98 rmx 250 with a brand new motor, tranny, plastics and polished everything. So its a very nice bike for the deal I got but the original forks on this I know were nit inverted and the ones on it now are. My issue is I'm missing the axle clamp and have no idea what bike these came off so I can look for the part. One side has a clamp that holds the axle and the other fork that holds the caliper has a threaded hole for axle to screw into.

That's going to be tough to identify with the little info you provided.

Doesn't the seller know what bike the forks are from?

What diameter are the upper and lower tubes?

Do the triple clamps have any marks that might help?

Just a wild guess, but perhaps someone swapped your '98 conventional forks with a Suzuki RM250 or RMX250 that had inverted forks.

Good job Dave! Yes found they are from a 98 RM250 model with inverted forks. Guess I hadn't thought about that cause I just figured they all came stock with conventional forks since mine did. Thanks so much. Been looking for awhile. Thanks again. Much appreciated!
