Carb leaking gas from bottom big bolt?

So i came home today to find a puddle of gas under my bike. Last night i forgot to shut off the gas. It seems to be dripping from the main large bolt at the bottom of the carb. Is this normal if you forget to shut off the gas? It could be anything from rubber tubes to a seal, but could it possible just because i did not shut off the gas? It was not running out of the overflow tube but instead somewhere around the carb.

that large bolt on the bottom of the carb is your main jet nut there should be a rubber o-ring be sure to shut your gas off next problem solved.
