Case Guard

Hey guys. I just picked up a Works Connection case guard. I have some other WC stuff on my RM, and this thing was marked down from $65 to $6, so I bought it. It requires being welded to the frame to be mounted. My question is do you think it's worth the hassle to mount this thing? I'm either going to have to bug someone I know, or pay someone to do it for me, and I don't want to bother if the majority think they're useless. I honestly can't remember ever seeing one mounted on a bike before. :whoa: Thanks for the opinions!

It would be kinda nice to have one but I'm not sure it is worth all the hard work to get it on. If you have to take it to a shop they will charge you a lot, but for the price you got that for it might be worth it to slap it on.

Do you have to weld the guard to the frame or some lugs to bolt it to?? I wouldn't want to put a guard on that I couldn't remove.

yeah, you actually just weld 2 "tabs" on, then you bolt the guard to those.
