The time is drawing near for our Nov 17/18 BBQ & Ride and everything seems to be coming together pretty well. In the event of rain, the BBQ will be on regardless of weather. As for the ride, if it is sprinkling-I'm going. If it is pouring-I'm going if I can talk anyone else into getting wet. Here are the directions you've been waiting for-if you receive only directions to the ride, that means I haven't heard that you are coming to the BBQ (just let me know and I will send those directions to you). If you receive directions to both events, then I've gotten your RSVP. Everyone is Welcome!

Directions to Ride 11/18-Meet at Chevron Station corner of Broad and Orcutt:
-Exit Los Osos Valley Rd (from North turn left after exit, from South turn right after exit)
-Proceed to Higuera (first light past freeway)
-Left on Higuera
-Right on Tank Farm Rd (past Food 4 Less market)
-Left on Broad (first light)
-Follow Broad to Orcutt (Chevron station in across the intersection)
___Proposed route:
Leave Chevron station in SLO on the corner of Broad St. and Orcutt Rd at 9 am (gas/snacks/water available).
Take Orcutt Rd to Lopez Dr (paved).
Lopez Dr to High Mountain Rd (paved).
High Mountain Rd to High Mountain Lookout Rd (paved turning to dirt).
High mountain Lookout Rd to Pozo Rd (dirt).
Pozo Rd to Red Hill Rd (paved turning to dirt).
Many fireroads/trails for all skill levels to explore in this area.
