I started a new thread so we can start from scratch.
Most of you got this in email form. It looks like quite a few of us (8 to 12 at least) will be at Paragon on March 17. It will be an all day ride starting around 10 or 11. As far as I know the list is as follows:

me +1 or 2
Trigger1911
Chief +1
Lori & Dave
Dapper
Bow Hunter
WayneO (maybe)
Weimedog (maybe)
Bob Tiley (maybe)
BRush (maybe)
Papakeith (maybe)

Not all of these are on my distribution list so I'll post this in a new thread on DRN too. Feel free to email me but lets try to keep the discussion on DRN so all can benefit.

Trigger will be talking to the manager at Paragon about us coming. He also scanned in a map of the place but it's a 1 MEG file and I didn't want to lock anyone's email up. If you want it, let me know.

Directions to the place are attached. Unless Trigger can find a better place for us to meet, we can all meet at the staging area between 10 and 11.

Dave

Can someone tell me a little more about the trails at Paragon.
Are barkbusters and skidplates a must?
Will this be a cruise, or a WFO hare scramble type ride?
Do they have any MX tracks laid out?
How far is it from the I80 Gap?
Depending on conditions and distance I may have
few budds (friends not brew) to bring.

Paragon is all trails riding. No mX at all. Their is some high speed firebreaks but not much. I would recommend barkbusters for any woods riding but not mandatory. Skidplates? I dont have one on my bike and it was no problem.
I am their to cruise not race. You may do whatever you wish, its cool.

From Delaware Water Gap its about 70 miles, or 1 hour if you drive like me.:p

Sounds like fun.
I have to break in a new guy, he just
bought a KDX, and joined DRN!
70 miles...so it should take me about 45 minutes :p

March 17th!!!!!!!!!1

I just talked to the manager of Paragon and he is as pumoped up as we are!
He said the trails will not be numbered until the week after we ride but the place does not officially open until April 6th. No problem though. The trails are marked directionally so we dont meet any SUV's.

There is a big Exxon station right by the entrance that we can all meet at if we can come up with a time. Lets do it!! Start your post times.

P.S. If you crash a lot, you can ride with me!

I hope you mean JJ's Texaco ( per the directions on Paragon's website)

How about if we wait for others until 10:20 at the gas station and then head out to the staging area at Paragon. Look for a red Dakota with a big DRN sticker on the back window.

Hopefully I will have Wiemedog & son and Chief & friend with me. Chief, email me about a good place to meet on I81.

Lori and Dave, do you want to meet in Binghamton? I plan on leaving by 7:00.

There is an EXXON station before the Texaco. It has a bigger parking lot to meet in. The two are almost side by side. I will be there at 10AM sharp unless I die before then. I may go up today and wait there just so I know I make it. (Daytona on Wednnesday this week?)

Hmm. This is going to be a near thing for us. May not know until the last minute, as Dave isn't getting his suspension back from MX-Tech until next week. I suppose if his bike isn't ready, I can just make him ride the old KDX around. :debil:

I'd love to hook up with you folks for a ride, but I'll be taking the little one to Budds Creek to race. Just got him a KTM50 this week and he already had the clutches smoking from trying to ride in the mud. How has eveyone been since DirtWeek 01?

Gee I hope you guys can make it. It wouldn't be the same with out Dave finding some trail that isn't fit for a gerbil :p

Make him ride the KDX. Didn't he make you or Bill ride it when we were out at your place last year??:think

:p

I'll tell him you mentioned that.

I rode the KDX last year, and let Woods ride my KTM since he didn't have his Gas-Gas in town yet. The KDX probably would have run better if it actually had some gas in it!

Hey, what, where, who, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE ANYWAYS!?!?!?

Geez, get up to your neck in work and they go and plan a ride on you. :scream: Dang and my KTM is in little tiny pieces too.

Oh well, if I've got to ride the KDX then maybe you nancys will be able to keep up with me. :p

Or I could bring the quad so I'll be sure to win the roost on RM_GUY contest.:p

The only thing we have to fear is - whatever trail ORW has found.
