chain links

im using a combination 13/49 and i would like to know how many links chain is recommendable for this combination..

Sounds like a 112 would do it!

Stock sprockets 13/47 use a 108 link chain.
I run 13/50 most of the time which uses 110 links
When I run 13/49 I use a 110 link chain but it's pretty close to the end of adjustment, #8.5 I think.

I put a 110 on my 13/47 setup on my 92.... it's perfect! I believe that's what buykawasaki.com calls for. Adding two teeth should require 1 or 2 more links.

I have a WPS o-ring chain, I had to put 112 links on it with my 13-48 combo. Anything less, the master link would not fit.

Sorry, I should have noticed your bike was a 1994 model and the advice I gave was for 1995 and up.
