Does anyone know if there are any documentation on how to change the brake pads on a 2002 kdx 220. I could experiment and probably get it done. Just want to avoid any problems.

Thanks in advance

No, it is available online from www.kawasaki.com or at your favorite kawi dealer, or favorite on-line retailer.

Hell you can even get them all the time at that auction place.

The factory service manuals are great, and worth the price.

You need both for the 220.
The 200 one is big, then the 220 one is just a supplement to it.

Expensive but very worth it.

I got both, and the 220 one is pretty stupid in my opinion. Kawasaki could have easily added those few pages into the 200 manual and probably saved themselves and their customers money. The 220 supplement has the engine bore specs in it and I think some mention of the o-ring chain. woo-hoo! Definitely get the 200 manual, the 220 add-on is optional IMHO.

thanks for all the help all!

Against better judgement and being way to impatient. I made the mistake of getting the supplement - boy that was a waste of money. Should have waited.

The book supplied with the purchase of my bike does contain alot of helpful info.....just does not cover brake shoe replacement.
