i recently pulled to hard on choke assy,i broke the threaded flange that lever mounts through. it wont stay in choke position now when im trying to start it. I ordered a new assy from Service Honda anybody know if i need to do anything special , it looks like you just unscrew it and pull it out and put a new one in.Anybody ever had this apart or had to change theirs. 1989 Honda Cr250 lokks like the part is the same for 80 something to atleast 96.models. any input would be greatly appreciated

Just the way you described. Very easy to change out, should only take a couple of minutes.

Don't forget that the choke is used to set the idle. Turn the knob counterclockwise (out) to increase and clockwise (in) to decrease the idle speed.
