Merry Christmas to all of my friends here at DRN! I encourage everyone, if at all possible, to make a donation this Christmas. Whether if be your time or your hard earned dollars, help someone in need. The Salvation Army, the Red Cross, or the Wounded Warrior Project are all very good organizations that can always use our help. You may find other ways or places to help out so just give it a shot.
Many food banks around the country are in need of help and many make it very easy to make donations. So, before you order that new pair of gloves or goggles, drop some dough in the pot for those needing a helping hand.

Each year when I take Tommy to buy the stuff for a less fortunate kid from the Salvation Army tree at work I remind him that those are the most important gifts we will buy all year because they are actually needed, not just wanted. He really does appreciate what he has.
