Clutch basket wobble

I am putting my clutch back together and I have the new Hinson basket installed and the inner hub. When it's all bolted down, but without the clutch plates installed, the hub has a slight wobble to it. Is this normal? I called the guy at the bike shop and he said it was normal. Just thought I would see what you guys think! Matt

There will always be some play in the basket, which is normal What do you mean by a wobble? Make sure you pressed the gear onto the basket fully. Also make sure that there is no trash b/t the basket and the gear.
