I have a '97 YZ 250
Down by the shifter lever is where the clutch cable attaches to the "Push Lever" on my bike. I can not shift gears and when I detach the clutch cable the lever can spin 180° and also comes up about a 1/2". I have the service manual for my bike but it doesn't tell how to take that part out of the bike.
Is this a simple fix? How much of the bike do I need to take apart? Will this be expensive?
Usually they just spin and pop out with the cable not attatched. I think you can just buy a new one and pop it back in. All it does is turn and push a rod that disengages the clutch.
