I have gone about pricing some things out for a new clutch. godam its expensive. now here is waht i have come up with and i am deciding on weather to go with factory or aftermarket.
i am thinking that i could do without replacing the clutch basket, however it is grooved up.
if i replace the plates would it be worth the extra to get the clutch basket too??
Honda cr250 factory clutch kit: $162.79 (US) plus shipping
Barnett Clutch Kit: $117.97 (US)
EBC DRC79-MG Honda CR250 clutch kit $82.95 (CHEAPEST)
PE (performance engineering) CLutch basket: $139.95 (US)
Hinson Clutch basket: $214 (US)
Vortex Clutch Basket: $199.00 (US)
clutch kits have springs, steel plates and friction plates.
