I am going to replace the springs in my clutch. Should I just pop for the whole kit, springs and discs, or just get the springs. Ya know, like dont just replace chain when sprokets are worn kind of thing. Does this apply to the clutch? There is still sufficient material left on the discs so I am not sure if I should spend the money. Thanks

I am a cheapsake and I'd rather spend the money on a nice dinner with my wife than replacing something that doesn't need to be replaced. If the friciton plates are still well above the minimum specified thickness and the steel plates are in good shape, give the money to charity. By the way, why are you changing the springs? Are they too short?
