Clutch Problem

i just replaced my clutch perch and ever since i replaced it it sticks if i pull it all the way in it'll stay in and then move slowly to it's resting position. But how do i get it to move freely like it once did.

Lube the cable? Make sure the pivot bolt isn't too tight?
