Clutch Question

I bought a new bottom end for my 1975 KS125, and was reassembling the motor. I put the clutch pack on and tied everything down, then I noticed that I was able to move (slide) the clutch discs from sided to side, almost as if a clutch disc was missing. I put all of the clutch parts in a box and then when it was time for reassembly I just put it all together. I have five clutch discs, should there be one more? or do I have another sort of adjustment problem?

sounds like you missed something. get a shop manual and recheck it all making sure all the parts are there.
