Clutch replacement question.

On my 1991 Rm125 in the manual when you take the clutches out it doesnt say anything about disconnecting the cable from the release lever befor removing the cover. Isn't this needed? If so do i disconnect it by making some slack in the cable with the lcoknut adjuster on the lever?

well on some bikes it isn't doesn't need to be removed, and if your manual doesn't say to remove it than my guess is you don't have to. but yes to remove it make some slack and lossen the adjuster so you can slide the cable out of the "clip" on the cases.
