QUESTION?

my 98kdx200 has been sitting since just before Xmas and I went to move it last weeken and found that in gear with clutch pulled in she wouldn't move, was as though I wasn't pulling in the clutch lever at all. I have not had a problem with the clutch before, I wasn't able to start her up as the kick start lever is rooted. Will the cluch work normally once warmed up? (got a new lever this week will install this weekend). Any advise would be good, can't see how the clutch would go just sitting there, clutch cable is 4 rides old.

cheers
Mac

It'll be fine. The plates are just stuck together from sitting. YZ165

Lean the bike over to get your oil on the plates. They dry out and so will the mechanism in the kickstarter.

thanks

cool thanks, didn't even cross my mind that the oil sits on one side of the engine when sitting. Makes sence though.

Cheers for the help
