clutches sticking on a fresh rebuild

just rebuilt a 01 rm 125 i bought torn apart had a good mechanic help me do the rebuild and the clutches stick pretty bad when its cold after 5 or 10 mins of riding they seem to free up
so im runing 10w 40 right now would a lighter oil help them free up

Maybe? Try atf fluid. It has a new, or good basket and hubs? What ever oil you use, change it a lot! Vintage Bob

ATF Type F is all I use in my tranny! Changed every other ride, I've never had an issue....

ok ill try that and ya all the parts looked good friction plates a little worn but will make it a little longer
