Colored Tires?

When if ever, will the yellow and blue Michelin tires come out for the avarge rider to buy?

I've asked Michelin the questiona and they said they are not available to the public and he didn't know when they will be available.

The tire/tire compound isn't ready for normal use, yet. The Team Subway Honda guys ran the yellow ones on Thursday's Press Day at Anaheim last week mainly just for looks, but ran normal tires for Friday's practice and Saturday's event. I also heard that other Michelin riders, such as Pastrana, had the option to run them at Press Day but didn't because they aren't ready for competition.

Those are some butt-ugly tires!
Is that the bike (less the tires) they are running in the States? Noticed Pavolny (sp?) was on a stock looking CR in Europe.

Awww... come on... I kinda like the yellow tires :confused:

Anyways... it's all about getting attention - I think that bike does the trick, eh?

That's Povolny's ride from Anaheim 1 Press Day. They were waiting until then to unveil the 2003 race bikes with the white plastics, black rims, etc... supposed to have some trick looking hubs too with Subway stamped into em.
