Attention Ohio DRNers.

I was in Comp. Accessories today, and they had two full racks of discount gear. All pants $50 and all jerseys $20. Looked like lots of good stuff on both racks. THOR, Fox, No Fear, and Moose Pants. Sizes and colors were varied. I picked up a new pair of Thor Core 3 pants and a Moose Sahara jersey. Good stuff! out the door with both items for $75!!

I thought your probation kept you out of the state of Ohio? ;)

Let me know the next time you're in town, we'll Ride.

I was visiting my MIL in Toledo over Easter. I was bored so ran down to Comp Acc. About 2 hours each way. They had such a great catalog and website that I was really stoked about going there. Very disappointed. Mostly street bike stuff in the store. Very little inventory of parts and no stock behind them. Apparently they do most of their business through a warehouse somewhere.

CompAcc gives AMA members a 10% discount, BTW.

I'll only go there for my sport bike tires. $99 for a rear tire instead of $160 at all the local shops. Anything else isn't worth the drive up there (90 minutes each way). Plus I like to support local shops.

I make the drive from Dayton to Columbus for buisiness about every 4-8 weeks. I too am usually disappointed by the selection at Comp. Accessories. I only stop there for something to do during the drive. The other day was the first time that they've had anything worth buying at a reasonable price. That's why I posted the deal.

Bill,
I'd love to go riding sometime. However, my opportunities are somewhat limited. I'm usally only in town the during the week. And, due to new security regulations, they won't let me carry on my bike any more. And, I'm affraid the check it. You see how they handle bags, I can't imagine what my bike would look like at baggage claim.

So, if you know some trails wide enough for a rental car, I'm sure we can have some fun then!! :scream: :D

Maybe we can hook up for a beer instead. I'll PM you when my next columbus trips rolls around in about 5 weeks from now.

I've done mail order with C.A .and if you you use a credit card you can count on it taking like 10 business days to get your order. Something about them 'clearing' your credit card. Who knows?? The same thing happened to my neighbor. Now I usually go through Troy Racing and I get my stuff the next day nearly every time.
