i used to ride a cr85 all the time then stopped, but just recently i tried to get out my brothers old bike, a honda cr125 2001 and it wouldnt start, so i changed the oil and spark plug on it and it still wont start, do u know of any other things i can look for or do to it to start it without having to take it to the shop

before being stored did he drain the gas out? If not chances are that the gas evaporeted and left everything in the tank, petcock, line and carb gummed up. You would need to pull the carb off and thoroughly clean it. I would also clean the tank and flush it and the gasline out with some clean fuel.
