cr-80 big bore

I am finally getting around to finishing a basket case 1990 cr-80.I want to have the big bore kit done by EG along with low end porting but was wondering if the crank should be beefed up with a hot rods kit?Thanks

Do you know when, if ever, the bottom end has been rebuilt?  If it has not, then I think that you need to replace/rebuild with new oem or hot rod kit.  This will definitely cost more, but at least you will be starting out with basically a new motor.
