cr125r vs rm125

i have a lead on a cr125R and rm125, both 1996 models, both bone stock and in seemingly perfect condition.

my question for you guys is, which is the faster bike on the track. ill only be purchasing one or the other. were talking MX here.

Which ever one you feel most comfortable on will be faster.

96 was a great year for the honda for sure. Both will need maintenance and the suspension revalved if you are going to be serious about the track.

I personally like the Hondas WAY better than a suzuki. Better reliability and a better overall package. But that is my opinion.

IMO the Suzuki had better handling, but the Honda's motor ruled. '96?... I'd do the CR.

I have the 96 CR and I love it. I would like to get to quieter exhaust though. Go with Honda.
