Does anyone know (from experience) what is a "safe" maximum value for piston to cylinder clearance for Honda CR500 ? Or what does the Honda service manual say about this?
My CR has a lot of hours with same piston but the compression is still good and there's no blow-by. But when You move piston in the cylinder sideways it has a lot of slack, especially in the direction of intake/exhaust ports. I know Wisecos need a little more clearance even as new to prevent cold-seizing but the amount of clearance makes me worry.
Any opinions?
