Is it possible that on my new Honda 450 MY 05 the tranny oil goes into the motor oil?
The bike has only five hours (and I usd it carefully).
I noticed that the level in the gearbox is lower and the level in the motor is higher...
Thanks for your help!!! ;)
I know that they are separate but once I read on a MXa issue (that I'm not able to find now!!!)that the problem was possible...I don't remember the cause of it...
I will use again the bike and check the levels more carefully.
Thanks for your advice!!!

I haven't had my '03 CRF motor apart yet (it is a HONDA, after all) but I believe if the right crank seal leaks the oils can mix.
Not likely on a new bike.
What is more likely is that the internal baffles in the tranny and the oil pump in the motor side caused the indicated level(s) to change from the time you filled it to when you checked.
Thanks for your advice.
I also think yhat Honda is a very reliable bike and that problem would be strange on a brand new bike.
I will control more accurately the levels next ride.
Bye!
The problem exists...the motor oil continue to rise...about 100 cc every hour and a half...
I called my dealer and the problem is in the right crank seal that leaks.
It's a strange problem but a lot of crf had it.
Also an friend of mine told me that he had the same problem on a brand new crf.
