Just wondering what you guys think about going from a Honda CRF230 to a KX100. I found someone who want to trade bikes but im not sure. They are the same size and all and I ride only mx. Both bikes are 2003. Would this be a good decision? Does anyone on here have the kx? What do you think about it. Im about 5'9 150 pounds. Thanks,Nick

If you want to ride mx I'd suggest you get a 125. You're big enough for the 125 so there's no point getting the KX100.

I was looking at the specs and the kx is actually a little bigger then the CRF230. Since i dont have a job I dont have any money. Since I dont have any money I cant get a 250f.

You can pick up a 125 for really cheap right now. Go for the 125, you are too tall for a KX100. You'll feel cramped on it, plus with your size and weight you will bottom it on just about any jump.
I tried riding a friend's KX100 a couple of years ago. I felt cramped on it and I'm 5'3".

The crf is acctually bigger than the kx 100, its only 6 inches longer but thats acctually quite a bit when your in attack position....

The kx is taller due to taller suspension.......but you will deffinetly need to have it resprung at your weight

not a good trade, save your money sell your 230 and buy a 125 or 250

If you sold the 230 you could buy a nice used 125. 125s are really cheap anymore.
