I'm looking into buying a brand new bike. I want to ride trails and fields,etc. not a big jumper or anything like that. I have experience with dirtbikes as i have a rm 125. i dont want to ride really tight trails. I've heard alot of good things about the honda 450s, but how about the X's?

3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ????? woods but mostly fields
4) Do you have any riding experience? yes
5) Do you think you will race ? no
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work? the basics but will be getting dealer to do most work
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? i want a 4 stroke. preferably a honda.
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry? honda suzuki kawasaki all the major brands..
9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? $8,000 range
