hi, I was wandering if you could cut the frame behind the muffeler mount? I was wandering, because I can see my frame alittle bit at the rear fender, those hook things. I have the MX Fender on.

yup. i took a chop saw and hack saw (to clean it up) and cut the frame tubes off, after the fender mounting bracket. don't cut 'um off before b/c then you won't have anything to mount the fender to. (i know you wouldn't, but just in case) i then put some primer on the exposed metal, and inserted the little black plastic gromets.
it looks unreal!

yah i think dave is right, just paint it, it looks solid! if you really need to have the kx look, i guess you could cut it before the mount. you'd be better off buying a kx fender and jerry-rigging it up. not shure how the kdx seat and kx fender would line up though. besides that if you use the kx style kdx fender with the frame mount cut off , you have the mounting holes on the fender, so it might look funny if you don't have the bolts in. your best bet is to cut the frame off after the mount and put the fender on. if you don't like it, then go to town. my guess is that it'll look great for you.
