I'm planning in advance here.........From what I can see in the Engine parts list book, 2 of the cylinders holding nuts are hidden under the power valve covers on each side of the motor is this correct? I know the day will come when I have to pull this cylinder and do the top end and I need to know this info. Also if I'm correct on the cylinders fastener location (under the valve covers) Do I have to mess with or disassemble the power valve assembly in order to remove the nuts holding the cylinder in place? I pray I don't because it looks like a million small parts that I'd rather spray clean and then just have the cylinder checked before I slide another piston in there later on down the road...So if anyone can answer this in a very precise way please do so.....:p
Thanks in advance.......................;)
Also if I rebuild early can I just wrap fresh rings around the stock piston or should I just pop a whole new piston kit in there?
Funny I just got the bike too, but I want to plan in advance.....
