Hi all,

Haven't been posting lately but I had to share my experience about a dualport I did in October in NJ. It was one of the Suzuki National dualsports run by the Meteor Motorcycle. It was
the best time I ever had in my life. The first day was 115 miles
of sand, whoops and nice trails and the second day was 80 miles
of the same with more woods roads but LOTS of sand. I used
my 95 XR250 and it did great! What a bike, I love it. The club
gave out prizes on Sunday and I got a ton of stuff. I have
never been to such an organized and well done event in my life.
Can't wait until next year!

Sounds like a great time. I've got some friends that do alot of dual sports. They keep trying to get me to try one. I guess I'll have to break down and give it a try one day.

Glad you had fun!:)

The secret is out

I've been riding them for almost 10 years now. Its hard not to ride like your racing. The wife has about 3000 Dual Sport miles on the back of my bike. She got a hard luck award after I crashed 3 times with the bike landing on her once. They are lots of fun and the people are great.

Hey NKD and CNM !

Good to know women are doing dual sports also. My husband Gene rode one last month and the dual sport bug has bit him!

Breezy Hill E.C. is hosting a dual sport next March 15th & 16th, 2001, near Alexandria, LA. It's the first one on the AMA/Suzuki Dual Sport Series calendar for next year. A couple of guys in the club are all fired up and have been laying out a course and doing mileage the last couple of weeks.

I've been working a web page (under construction) at http://www.sprocketclocks.com/bhill/dualinfo.htm

Check back in a couple of weeks and we should have more info posted there.
