Considering a husky WR125 any thoughts?

I was considering getting a WR125 for enduros and dualsports. I am a female and getting a little older now. I am tall though, 5'7". I had a KTM EXC 250 and loved it but it was a little too heavy. I ride a lot of sand runs in NJ. I was something light and flickable and not too tall, I want to touch flat foot, it gives me a feeling of security. I was also considering a KLX300 or KDX200 or KTM200. Any advice would be appreciated. I ride a CRF250R now for motocross but really miss my trailriding. Thanks!

Why not get a lowering link for the crf? Or shave the seat foam a bit? Its pretty light, just turn the clickers out a bit and hit the trail :ride:

I would say buy a new 2008 KTM 200XC-W because it only weighs 210 for next year and its has more bottom end then a 125. It also has 6 gears for those long strights of highway.

I think most of us are getting older.

I'm 5' 6 and that's short, not tall. I touch flat-footed on a KX100 and that's it. Any 125, 200, or 250 is a tip-toe deal. My 450F is a 1-footed deal or teeter back and forth. A KTM is particularly tall-ish because the rear fender sticks straight out and takes more leg-swing to clear it.

If you've got $8000 to spare ;) Service Honda puts a 250F engine in a CR85 frame.

Wish I could offer more suggestions but it's a tall-bike world out there.
