...get the feelin' that your wife was mad at you? And you just can't think of anything that you did to piss her off.

Could it be your new used WR250F? No, you made sure to mention it before you bought a new bike, this time. Besides, it's almost a free upgrade, after you sell the XR4.

Could it be that you took off at the last minute Sunday afternoon to go ride your new used WR250F? No, she didn't seem to mind. Anyway, you got back super early cuz you missed your buddies so you had to ride by yourself and you packed up early and went home.

Haven't been to any of her office parties in years, so you couldn't have said anything stupid to embarrass her.

Your friends don't come to the house anymore to swill your beer so that's not it.

The Thanksgiving trip to her brother's house went real well this year. Nobody got mad at you and you didn't swill the expensive wine like it was Thunderbird on ice.

You really want to just come right out and say WTF did I do ta piss you off this time? But, you know better than to do that. So you rack your brain for a day or two.

Then it hits you…

This holiday season has been refreshingly devoid of emotional pitfalls. My biggest problem is....I've been looking for someone to annoy, and there just isn't a likely candidate in sight. Oh well, maybe next year will bring a new and improved significant other.

The best part is knowing that I don't have to gift wrap any presents. This year, I'm giving everyone the finger.

I think the kids are repeating things (out of context of course) that I may or may not have said. I can't be sure what those things are but I better think of a great Christmas present this year.

Motorhome?

VD, I've often found it works best just to get them a gift certificate, or cash! But then you get the "You don't care enough to get me anything" line!
