Difference in KDXs

Ive been riding a 1997 KDX200. I rode a 2000 KDX200 and the tank and seat seemed thinner. The bike was also quicker. Was there a change between years, or do I just want a newer model?

Its all in your head ... The 1995 thru 2001 are the exact same bike with different graphics for each year. And in 1996 the 200 even had a purple tank.

Maybe that the 2000 is just newer and just "feels" slimmer and faster. So to answer your question ... Sounds like you just want a newer model.

Thanks for replying. I suspected as much. I will propably get a new one
anyway. I have a bad front wheel bearing. That should be enough to justify
a new bike...
