Hi I'm shopping for a KX65, and was looking to find out how the bike changed from 2000-2007? Was there significant changes to select a certain year? Thanks, Joe
The KTM seems to be more popular in every area, all the fast kids are riding them. I believe that the suspension is better on the KTM, but the price tag is better on a KX.
A KX is good for a beginner mx rider or trail riding. The KTM rules MX here in Fl in the different race series. Suspension is the huge difference between these two.
Oh and the difference basically none from 2000 to 2007. Kawasaki doesn't care about ruling the mini mx racing but KTM does. We're on a green bike right now but after 14 months were shopping elsewhere.
You may want to go to www.ktmtalk.com and ask there. I know they went to a different stator around 02' cylinder head differences after that. Now they have 1 fork compression adj. and the other fork is rebound (only used to have comp only).
