Guilty as well! Most of the time I find myself sitting on my bike on the stand pretending that I am riding the track. I am glad to find I am not the only one w/ this sort of problem!

Yup. Sometimes I'll put my bike up on the stand and just do laps around it. Maybe climb up on it, twist the throttle a couple times, pop the clutch in and out, give the front brake a few tugs. I do the storefront window thing everytime my bike is in my truck.

I really, really......really like my bike. :)

its llike our brains are telling us to do something to the bike even though it doesnt need it. wonder if anyone has ever gotten into a crash b/c they were looking at their bike in a storefront window??

I don't have to go through the garage when I leave the house... but I always do because that is where the bike is. As I walk by my Gas Gas I always give it a good slap on the seat. "Good bike... stay... stay... we'll go riding soon I promise"

I'll go out and fire the sucker up at least once a week, just to get it warmed up. Gotta smell a few fumes just to get the ol' blood a pumpin', Itellyouwhat!

All these stories remind me of a scene the "The animal" the movie that was just out where the guy has a bunch of animal organs transplanted to his body. He starts getting uncontollable animal urges In the scene he sees a female goat, and the sexy music starts playing and he starts struttin his stuffand goes up to the goat and goes "baby, you got it goin on" and slaps its behind. (the goat kicks him and it goes no further) but I just imagine ya'll wearing your gear, strutting your stuff, slappin the seat on your bike....

:)

LOL !!! I thought I was just a dirt bike nerd, but it seems everyone has the same genetic disfunction. Every time I get up in the morning, I go out to the garage to look at the bikes. I love to ride through town with my bike(s) on the back of the truck and watch the expression on peoples faces, especially on little kids  .

yes even if you have just one bike in the back you can read the lips on the kids saying "that bike is cool" i dunno but it makes me feel good. Bringing more kids into the dirt biking world!!!

That is funny, it to me, it always looks like they are saying "That fat dude rides that thing?"

Back on the subject, I walk out the garage every day on my way to work just to see my baby!
