I have one dog and she is a Bedlington Terrior. Her name is Ginger and she is 3yrs. old and looks like a little lamb or sheep when she is groomed. She only weighs 15 lbs., but she is a fiesty little dog. She barks at any noise and is very protective. At night, she curls up on the pillow next to me and sleeps. :)

We have 3 dogs.

Hound Dog - the 12 year old Bluetick Hound, great dog that keeps the bears, cougars, bobcat's and who knows what away from our yard. Have to put up with the occasional barking fit due to treed porcupine, kitty cats (household) and racoons. He thinks porcupines are one of his main food groups. Two more quills to pull out when I get home tonight. He thinks he's a lap dog too.

Melba (my son named her a long time ago) 6 year old red Chow. Big fluffy red dog that loves to pick on the hound dog. At least she's smart enough to just sniff the stupid procupines. Got through with the quill removal wrestling match on her this morning.

Koko - 12 year old black Chow. About half as big as a normal Chow but twice as Ornery. She tries to pick fights with Melba, only to lose bad. The girls have been taking turns being in the dog pen now for 3 years. Only one out at a time. But Koko is showing her age since arthritis has crippled one of her front legs and she won't fair the winter well. :(

1 dog (Jenny) and two cats (wastes of space but they are entertainment for the dog). golden retriever/sheltie/?/? mix. All pets are rescued animals. The dog was abandoned in Utah and was lucky enough to be picked up by a Border Collie Rescue volunteer that was traveling through on vacation. She is a REAL truck dog. She can jump into the back of the F250 with the tailgate closed.

We have two (2) dogs.

Sprocket- 1yr old Golden Retriever. Weighed in at 80lbs yesterday at the Vet. Loves to sleep on the bed with us, but at 80lbs. he's no longer a "cute little puppy." Smart as can be....has learned every trick we've tried to teach him and it usually only takes one or two attempts before he understands what we want :D

Hanna- 1yr longhaired Shepherd mix. Rescued her from the animal shelter in North Central LA where she was a stray puppy. She is the most affectionate animal I have ever seen. LOVES to sit on your lap and get some luvin' ! Only problem...she's 75 lbs.

Both love to ride in the car, so I take them whenever I go to run errands. Don't have to worry much about the car being stolen !

2 furballs, a Shiba Inu and a Great Dane. The Shiba likes to try and hump the Dane, doesn't usually work, but he tries. By the way, I need to 86 the Shiba, he is too agressive towards my little girl.
The Dane, Maile, stands 6 feet tall and is a real mush bucket! The Shiba, Saki, is about 20 lbs and is a little jerk! Please, he needs a home to run free.

I have a 6 year old, 70lb, German Shepherd mix named Lucy. Rescued her from the pound when she was 7 weeks old. She used to jump so high that people would stop me when out on walks with her and make comments such as "Where'd you get her, from the circus" or "She should be drafted by the Bulls!" There was a time that no wall or fence could contain her. She's filled out a bit now and can't jump quite as high anymore. She's a blast to take to the beach though. She eats Pugs for lunch. ;)

Pics of her on my Photo page.

my dog

I have one dog, a 3 year old red and white pitbull. I know, I know, they have a bad rep.. But until you own one of these dogs, you will never understand and loyal and affectionate(sp?) a pit can be. I have also had a rotti. Also a very sweet dog, but dumb as dirt. My pit is VERY protective of his cats, yes, HIS cats. We have 3 cats we have had since he was a pup(got him when he was 11 weeks old). When I have him out front, seems like the cats start to show off. I guess since they have their big brother there to protect everyone. He is probably the best dog I have ever had. Just wanted to let you know about my dog.
LATER,
Chris:)

Oh yeah, never, ever operate a remote control car around my dog, he goes nuts, rather funny to watch though, because he barks and chases it until I point it at him, then he runs and hides.

The Collie goes nuts and chases the horse around whenever my dad pulls into the driveway, the ankle biter knows if he whines loud enough he'll get fed at the dinner table.:scream:

I’m going on four months with my new puppy, Evy (Eh-vee), she is a 7 month old Pitbull mix rescued from the pound. Absolutely the sweetest dog I’ve had in a while, very similar to my mut Shadow who was the most athletic and unconditional dog ever! Shadow got hit by a car at 5 years old and the subsequent replacements have not been the same. Now that I moved out of my parent’s house I got Evy and she is remarkably similar in every aspect (a little smarter!). She is very calm except when you first see here in the evenings then she does about 7 laps around the house in high gear. Scoots the rugs around, flies across the couch, and under the coffee table. Oh yeah, Evy never barks and whined the first night until I slapped here door one time, not a peep since.

He is only 6 months old. The dog has way to much energy. It will fetch anything that you thorw for it. It chews on anything it can fit into its mouth (including hands). It getting much better on the chewing. It barks way too much. The he like to play with the cats, but just can't relize that they don't like him.
