dont know much about Service Honda, can anyone fill me in?

hey guys, great to be back after a few weeks of absence( beach,etc.). anyway, first stupid question: service honda is owned by honda, right( because honda would have probably sued them if they werent). second stupid question: how many bikes does service honda make?( i know of the CR500AF, CR500AFX, and the junior X( a CRF250X engine in a CR85 frame basically) third and final stupid question: if service honda is owned by honda, why did they create service honda? why couldnt honda just make those bikes?
