Hello, ok which bike is better out of these:

2002 KTM 200 EXC
2002 KTM 250 EXC
2002 Kawasaki KDX200
2002 Kawasaki KDX220

Which of these bikes would be best for a mix of Tight Technical Trails, Steep Hill Climbing, Long Straightaway's, the occasional sand dunes, and can be raced if I decided to get into that.

I am 16, I have been riding for about 4 Years, I weigh about 165 w/o Gear, I am 5'11". I like smaller, Lighter feeling bikes.. Something easy to throw around. I defiantly want a reliable bike. I live and ride in southern California so it is dry and hot generally. I will probably Re-Valve and Re-Spring the bike for my correct weight if that is needed. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, Just no four stroke suggestions only two strokes.

I'd say the ktm200 would be a great bike especially concidering you live in S. Cal so you'll probably be rifing desert as well.

dont race a kdx it wont last the first moto trails their awesome but nowhere else

I think I have decided on the 2002 KTM 250EXC 2 Stroke.. I like it better than the 2003 model and newer because those are only 5 speeds, and the the 2002 has a 38mm carb wile the 2003 and newer have 36's.... Was there any problems or dislikes that any of you had or heard about for the 02 KTM 250EXC 2 Stroke?
