Just got my freshly rebuilt bottom end in from the dealership today. I noticed on the drive axle outer bearing (the one closest to the drive sproket), that the bearing is slightly loose on the shaft, and it can turn inside the inner race slightly. I am assuming that when the spacer ring is on, as well as the sprocket, that there should be enough side force to keep it tight. also there seems to be an oil journal in the shaft design...? (hard to see it was dark in my shop)
I bought this bike last may, put 2 engines through it, trying to get the second one back online (new crank, piston, cylinder, etc.). nothings on these things works right. :(
I just spent $200 getting this thing rebuilt. someone please tell me all is well.
