On my kx125 I can move my clutch basket in and out about 1/8". I can`t feel any up or down
movement at all. I have the basket off and the play is still there in the driveshaft that the clutch
basket is attached to. I have the manual and it doesn`t say anything about radial movement. Is
this a normal condition,or should I investigate further?

as you are facing the clutch, radial movement would be the up and down, pushing it in and out would be axial movement, if I remember correctly.

for extra points, twisting it should be tangential movement (such as the backlash in the primary gear set).
