DRN'rs at Steele Creek GNCC

After leaving the Steele Creek GNCC on Sunday I convoyed up route 77 with a Blue truck that had a Dirt Week sticker in the back window. I just wondered if it was a fellow DRN'r. It had Virginia plates.

Speaking of Steele Creek --- :|

I wanted to race soooo bad on Sunday but I understand that safety is important. It was probably a wise move to postpone. I did get to gear up and ride around the pits before they cancelled it so it wasn't a total loss. :(

The 1200+ mile round trip without even getting the bike dirty sux.

Safety was a concern as those trees snapping all over was freaky. We went for a nature walk around 8:30am and watched trees tumble all around us. It was interesting and funny to a point but once we thought about it ... wow that was not cool.

ya i was there, luckily my race was the day before but ya it was windy. you could look up and see hats flying everywhere lol.

PA Harescramble Series
Round #2 is now the 24th as last week it was cancled due to flooding.

Not sure about the trip back south unless I can find a vehicle that gets better than 8 mpg to make the trip.
