I have a 2003 King that will not stay running. Bike starts and revs fine but after about one minute it dies out. Sounds like it is running out of fuel. I have taken carb apart and cleaned twice and made sure that the floats were not stuck. Any suggestions? :bang: Thanks.

Fuel, Air and Spark.

Well after some more investigation, I took off the tank and tried letting the fuel run from the petcock. Well OFF worked, ON Dribbled, and what I guess is RESERVE worked. We were running the bike in the ON position. So the fuel was dribbling out enoungh to fill the bowl while sitting. After a short time of running the flow could not keep up with the demand.

PROBLEM: Rubber seal internal to the petcock had turned few degrees and was obstucting the fuel flow.

Problem solved! :aj:

Good job. Its always nice when its simple and inexpensive. I thought this thread was going to be about a David Vuillimin(sp?) or a snake.
