Early Z50 Cam Timing - HELP!

I'm putting a new piston/cylinder on my 71 Z50 engine, and I have no clue how to time the cam. I found the index mark on the case, but I'm not sure where the dot on the cam gear should point.

Can any of you Z50 gurus give me some help?
