I know there are a few of you here who have shipped bikes in the passed. Do you recommend any specific companies? I'm trying to get my bike to El Paso from Ca., and don't want to spend $650 if I can avoid it. That seems to be the going rate for the quotes I've been getting.

I shipped my 1999 Kawasaki KLX300 from Garland, Texas to a guy in California last April with a company called "OVERNITE" I believe, and me and my dad got a crate from the local bike shop and crated my bike up in it and put it on a trailor and took it to OVERNITE and they sent it via airplane and I think it was around maybe $200-$300 something like that.

I had a bus ship a huge tractor tire one time. I can't recall the price but I remember it was cheaper than I expected.
