Hey all,

Just sittin here at my desk with the cylinder from my 89 KDX200 (shattered piston, middle of rebuilding) and I can't get this exhaust "operating rod" out. Gears on left and right valves are flush with cylinder, main valve groove is flush, everything is ok according to jaguar's site.
Am I missing something? I tapped it from the other side, wiggled it, and i'm getting fed up! Any suggestions??? :ugg:

Ah nevermind, guess i wasn't pulling hard enough. :thumb:

On another note, is there an easy way to clean out all the ports in the cylinder?

Check eric gorr's site for some tips.

Basically, use an aerosol oven cleaner. Don't let it set over 20 minutes. Clean it well with soap and water after oven cleaner use. Immediately put a penetrating oil on it to keep it from oxidizing.
