Yea I am.From what I understand this is a money game, and I doubt the plug to be pulled.@home might do it but it would be ignorant, mainly because they are trying to sell out and if they pull the plug they lose all the customers monthly revenue. The customer base is an important part of their value.

enough worring about it-time to ride.:D

Word on my pager says that court okays the pull. AT&T has offered upto 400 million but greedy bondholders want more.

Thats what I heard to. They have not pulled the plug yet. I though it would be midnight when they did, but I'm still here.

I was with @home, but cable one and @home made some sort of a swap deal so now I'm with cable one. I hope I'm okay. A world without cable net just doesn't seem all that fun.

I for one am happy with the way AT&T has prepared itself. With 1.4million customers to deal with, my system went down Saturday evening, and now I am back up with the new system - attbi.com witin 24 hours. Can't say that with the system at work. Once it's down, it takes an act of God to get it back up.

I lost my @home a couple days ago and had to load AOL free for 2 months just so I could get back on the internet. AT&T said to me it should take them aprx. 7 days to put on there new system. So I'm looking at 5 more day hopefully to get back my cable. Can't wait because this 56K **** is sure slow. I will just have to be patient with both.

The "new" AT&T Broadband service will be up and running soon - I hope...

-Customers in San Francisco and Illinois are scheduled to move this Monday and Tuesday

-Customers in Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah are scheduled for Wednesday

-Customers in Hartford, Connecticut; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Sacramento, California and the Majority of the Rocky Mountain region are scheduled to move on Thursday

-Customers in Michigan will be moved on Friday

Gotta luv Michigan in last place - Go Buckeyes! :)

JimmyD2,

San Francisco is scheduled to move this Monday and Tuesday. Good news for me then, hope your right because this AOL speed is not worth playing on the internet for me, I have no patients waiting for sites to load.

If you guys are looking for a switch, try NetZero http://www.netzero.com It is only $9.95 per month and there are absolutely no banner or pop up ads. If you are lucky enough to be somewhere where there is a local number you can get it for free but you have to put up with banner or pop up ads and there is a 10 hour limit per month (after that you pay the $9.95 for unlimited access).

I’ve been using it for a couple of years and have had no problems hooking up or loosing the connection.
