Family Enduro Series - Round # 1

Round # 1 will NOT be in Michigan this year. I just got off the phone with Jeff Fredette and Indiana will host round # 1 on April 22nd. Same location as the Roselawn enduro...can you say grass track with LOGS???
His club has layed out a 15 mile loop and plan to run two laps - 12 mph and then 18 mph on second lap. The race will start at 11:00 Indiana time (12:00 noon - Michigan).
Please pass the word. I hope to have a notice on the D14 and LMC websites by the end of the day.
If anyone is interested in helping Jeff with a check or a road crossing, let me know.

FYI....round # 2 will be the next weekend (4/29) in Kalkaska. I did ask Jeff if he could change his date, but that was not possible.

Come on Fred, I thought you had trained hard for this year. Now you want a throw away? :ahhh: Are you sure you are the PTP Prez? I'm begining to have my doughts. :nener:
(I have prepaired myself for the FredT return assault, I'm in front of the computer with full riding gear on. ;) )

Does my son need a district 14 card (Family Membership Competition Card) to compete in the enduro?

Will he need an AMA membership to compete?

no AMA required, no D 14 required. Just pay the entry fee and sign all the waivers.

The plan is to count all five events. D14 would respond the same way. With two of the events in new locations, I think it is best to count all event - it encourages people to make that LONG trip to yooperland.

Mike - thanks for posting that! Just last night (I had not checked here yet) I thought I should contact you to see what was up with prospect of Fredette doing an event.

I sure hope all this stupid snow melts so Mark can get some saddle time before 4/22!

no kidding we have to lay out and arrow that Kasky enduro before too long!

I also found out that I am in charge of the spring trail maint in Higgins and Missaukee. Gee, ya think there will be a few trees to remove? That has to be done before Memorial weekend and I got some racing to do!
